Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Yuma is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Yuma follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had a terrible experience at this Love's location. First, the pump was incredibly slowβit took over a minute to pump just one gallon of gas. The bigger issue was that the automatic shutoff on the nozzle failed. The pump did not stop when my tank was full, causing gasoline to spill all over the side of my car and my feet. This created both a mess and a serious safety hazard. I immediately went inside to tell the clerk that there had been a gas spill and that the pump appeared to be malfunctioning, suggesting they might want to shut it down. His only response was, "Okay." No one came outside, no one checked the pump, and no guidance or assistance was offered. With no help from the staff, I used the water I had in my car to rinse the gasoline off the back half of my car and tried to wash the gas off my feet as best I could. I then had to drive home with my windows cracked because of the strong gasoline fumes coming from my shoes and feet. The lack of concern for a potentially dangerous equipment failure and the complete absence of customer service were extremely disappointing.

FYI for anyone going to Love's Travel Stop in Yuma AZ be aware that instead of the typical $1.00 hold charge most gass stations charge when using a debit card Loves's charges $225.00 and according to the Manager that can be as high as $250.00, better hope it drops off but just be aware incase it doesn't. Also when I payed I used the tap function and it didn't require a pin # so if you loose your card its pretty easy for someone knowing this to get free gas. I spoke to the store manager about this and he confirmed the upto $250.00 hold stating it is posted on the pumps. It was my first (an last) time fueling there so I didn't see it. I also asked about the pin issue. He said when he gets gas it requires a pin, maybe it has something to do with my bank (?).

A very well run fuel stop. Plenty of pumps and lanes. Restroom clean. Fuel price is about the best The highlight us the Subway Sandwich place. Friendly staff. As clean as it can get. Always super fresh. My travels take me Through Westmoreland quite often and I plan for this Subway visit. Is fresh and a sort of healthy choice considering options... Hats off to whoever oversees this.

Way to many people just parking on the fuel island. Forced to do business here but not liking it. People that work here are good people but the facilities suck.
